We really enjoyed time in this homestay. The owners are absolutely wonderful people. The food is very tasty, and the staff very helpful. We were also able to do our laundry there. You really feel like home. This place is perfect for nature lovers and for people who just want to escape from the busy city. This place is also great for hiking, practicing yoga, relaxing, or even working on your computer. Highly recommending!
If you are looking for calm and peace/ off beat place to stay from the hue and cry of the city, then your search ends here. Not very far from Delhi (260 km). You can hear the clear sound of chirping of birds, some of them are exotic. Would also enjoy homely food. Cozy rooms. Can experience small tracks alongside. The exceptional thing is hospitality of the owner (couple) which is unforgettable and priceless.

When everything is getting to messy in rishikesh and you are seeking for nature, harmony, peace and time for yourself.. this is the place your were looking for! The nature is stunning, I didn't expect this so close to rishikesh. It feels like a completely different world here. Time runs differently as well. You can wake up in the morning and join the yoga class, the teacher is really good. Or you can sleep long in your cool cottage, that is not luxury put pure and I love it. The luxury you get here is the peace and beauty of nature and a place where you feel the heart of the owners.
They have very nice dogs, they offer activities together and are really kind and friendly. The stuff is really cute and the food was exactly what I needed! Plain, homemade and delicious.
In the evening they also offer different meditations and Soundhealing.
I can totally recommend this place if - you love nature and animals, not scared of spiders, looking for peace.
I can not recommend if - you want to hang out in cool cafes or make party, you want fancy rooms and a lot of activities to keep your mind busy.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Junegiri, a beautiful Pahadi homestay located just 5 km from the famous Neelkanth Temple in Rishikesh. The hosts, Geetu and Vignesh, were absolutely wonderful and treated me like a member of their family from the moment I arrived. They were incredibly hospitable, warm, and accommodating in every possible way.
One of the highlights of my stay was definitely the delicious Pahadi cuisine that was prepared by Mr. Negi. Every meal was a treat, filled with authentic flavors and ingredients that really showcased the local cuisine. I would highly recommend trying Mr. Negi's cooking during your stay!
Junegiri is a pet-friendly homestay, which was great news for me as I was traveling with my furry companion. Geetu and Vignesh have a beautiful pet dog named Coco who is an absolute delight to be around. I was also happy to learn that the homestay is LGBT-friendly and my partner and I felt very comfortable and welcomed during our stay.
The homestay is situated in the midst of wilderness, and yet it felt like a true home away from home. The surroundings were stunning, and the homestay itself was incredibly cozy and welcoming. Geetu took us on hikes to meet the local villagers and see the Neelkanth peaks, which was an unforgettable experience.

Had a wonderful time during my one week stay at Junegiri Farms. Would recommend the place to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle bustle of city life. The place is extremely peacefull amidst nature and the hills.
The hosts, Geeta and Vignesh, are extremely friendly and go out of the way to make your stay a memorable one. The village walks morning and evening and trek to the nearby Rajaji National Park were just wonderful. Also they have regular yoga retreats. Food is delicious, homely and fresh.
It's a perfect place for anyone looking to rejuvenate amongst nature and fresh air. Would suggest minimum stay of 7 to 14 days to explore the nearby trekking trails and enjoy the serenity and tranquility of the place.
